On Fleek Marketing was started as a result of my very own hair and beauty appointments frequently turning into marketing consultancy... I’d be sat in the salon chair for hours, answering questions on everything, from improving their social media to ranking higher in Google.

Every salon owner told me the same story:

They know how important marketing is for their business, but don't have the expertise or time to do it.

They may have tried advertising with little success, or worked with various freelancers and couldn’t tell me what results they were getting. They were never satisfied with the service, and got very little back in return for their spend.

The problem was bigger than I thought.

When I started to take on clients and take a look at previous marketing campaigns set up, I was shocked. They had not been set up correctly, wasting thousands of pounds on ad spend - one campaign I looked at had been targeting London USA, when the client is based in Bristol UK. They were never going to get a customer willing to travel that distance!

These campaigns were set up by a self-proclaimed “PMU marketing expert” who spotted a gap in the beauty market - women owned businesses who lack the digital knowledge themselves and have budgets to spend - and he exploited it. He was a very good salesman, but not a marketing expert.

This is why On Fleek Marketing was started.
